The rooms are cement-rendered, mud-walled and thatched dwellings having colourful interior decors. Akwidaa Inn is a place to benefit from complete retreat from the rigours of Western societal life. This sentiment has been most often expressed by reviews appearing regularly on booking.com and other digital media presentations. Along with this is the claim by travelers that our beach-front is the cleanest in Ghana. The lodge, which inception occurred in 2011, has been operating as an accommodation facility for some 10 years after construction. It is an important aspect of daily life for a few locals who have been employed there much of this time.
