Visitors who wish to stay until can do so at the nearby Bojo beach resort. So, if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city during the week or on the weekend, head to Bojo Beach.

Another way to unwind is to watch a good movie, and Silverbird Cinemas in Accra Mall is one place to do so. You can enjoy the 4DX experience, which allows you to feel as if you are a character in the film. The National Museum of Ghana is a great place to go if you want to go back in time. The museum houses an archaeological, ethnographic, and fine art collection. The exhibit includes indigenous Ghanaian musical instruments, furniture, pottery, beads, traditional textiles, and ceremonial masks from several African countries.

Sankofa Restaurant is a fine dining establishment that serves both local and international cuisine. It is famous for its Sunday brunch and a live band that entertains guests with good music.

Achimota Retail Centre is a pleasant place to unwind. It is home to several restaurants and fast food establishments such as The Chop Bar, Chicken Inn/Pizza Inn, and gaming establishments such as ARA and Vulkano Games.

Accra Metropolis has a number of schools that use effective teaching methods and provide adequate facilities to aid a child's learning and development. Among them are Ghana International School, Little Miracles International School, and Alsyd Academy.

Ghana International School is a private non-profit co-educational school in Cantonments. It provides a curriculum based on the English National Curriculum and Cambridge International Examinations, as well as IGCSE and GCE Advanced levels, with English as the medium of instruction. The school has four sections that serve students ages 3 to 18: infant school, junior school, lower secondary, and upper secondary. Students learn in fully air-conditioned classrooms and have access to a well-stocked multipurpose library, a music room, an information technology room, six science laboratories, and sporting facilities, among other amenities.

Little Miracles International School is an East Legon private school that accepts students from creche to Junior High School 3. Their curriculum is based on Ghana Education Service and American standards.

Alsyd Academy is yet another Accra metropolis school dedicated to providing quality education to students in Kindergarten 1 through Junior High School 3. The school has a modern laboratory, a well-equipped ICT room, a library with constant internet access, a sports field and a basketball court, as well as a pre-tech workshop.
